About Family Seed
Building a family should never mean building it alone.
Family Seed exists for a simple reason: the journey to parenthood, and the decision to help someone else reach it, is too human to face by yourself.
Behind every fertility statistic is a person sitting with a hope they're afraid to say out loud, or a decision they've never been given the space to make.
We are building Canada's home for all of them. Not a database — a community. One where intended parents, donors, and the families holding material in storage can learn, find one another, and move forward with people who understand.

Most of this world treats donation like a catalogue. We don't. Real families are built on trust, shared values, and human connection — so that's what we build first, and everything else follows from it.
Trust has to be earned
Everyone who joins goes through verification and education as they become part of the community, because the people on the other side of this decision deserve to feel safe, not sold to.
Canadian families deserve options
Today, as much as 90% of the donor eggs and sperm used in Canada is imported from overseas: long waits, high costs, and building your family with a stranger you'll never share a community with. We think Canadians should have another way.
